About us
The Prague Conference of Young Historians 2027 is an international conference project organized by a group of students and members FFabula – Students of History Association at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University.
The aim of this project is to create an interdisciplinary platform for students and young researchers from history related fields to meet, present their research and discuss diverse approaches and perspectives. By bringing together young scholars from various countries, the conference hopes to strengthen international academic exchange and support the development of new professional connections and future collaborations.

FFabula - Students of History Association at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University
The History Students‘ Association of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University is one of the oldest and largest student associations operating at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Its main objectives are to create a platform for communication and networking among current students and alumni across all years and levels of study. The Association also organizes a wide range of activities promoting the study and public presentation of history, including student research presentations and lectures by invited guest speakers. In addition to these academic events, it offers a variety of less formal activities, such as film screenings and social gatherings.
Charles University
Founded in 1348, Charles University is the oldest and largest university in the Czech Republic and one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. Combining a long academic tradition with a strong international outlook, it is a leading centre for higher education, research, and scholarship.
Faculty of Arts
The Faculty of Arts is one of the largest humanities faculties in Central Europe. It offers a broad range of degree programmes in the humanities, social sciences, and languages, providing an inspiring environment for study, research, and international cooperation.
Institute of History
It is the largest historical academic department at Czech universities. It offers a wide range of specialised research-oriented as well as teacher-training Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral study programmes. The Institute builds on the rich local tradition of historical scholarship and education in the field of history. It represents a synergy of expertise among leading scholars and educators, who are able to cover a broad spectrum of historical periods (from the early Middle Ages to contemporary history), geographical contexts (from national and Central European history to global perspectives), and historiographical approaches (ranging from political, economic, social, and cultural history to public history).
